Follow Your Heart. Really??

You've heard it said....."Follow Your Heart".  It's one of those sayings that sounds great, and makes us wanna go "Yeah!".  But if I'm honest, that is something that I should be careful NOT to do.  Why?  Well, it's kind of complicated, but really, SIMPLE.

We all want to believe that at our core, we're basically 'good'.  We so desperately want to believe that, that we'll go to great lengths to not only justify our own actions at times, but also the actions of others.  That's easier than looking deeper beneath the surface to examine the MOTIVE of those actions.  Especially when those actions look and seem 'good' to the outside world.

It's like going through life grabbing fig leaves to cover the nakedness of our need, our deep and desperate need for God's Grace, Love and Mercy.

I spent a lot of time growing up trying to please people.  Trying to make sure that I was doing the right thing, the good thing, the thing that would be well spoken of.  And although I didn't always succeed (thank GOD!), even when I did, God eventually allowed, and orchestrated circumstances so that what I had done my best to achieve, would be dismantled so that I could come into HIS Grace, and learn to accept my weakness in order to allow and rely on His Strength.

Jeremiah 17:9  says that 'the heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick!  Who can know it (perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind)?"  Yikes.

Well, I've come to know over the course of my life, and especially in my walk with the Lord, that my heart IS just that.  Without Him, and left to myself, if I follow MY heart (instead of His), the results are, and will be disastrous.

So here's the key, at least for me.

The closer I stay to His Heart….in prayer, in His Word, in worship and the study of His Word…..the easier it is to hear His Voice, speaking to me personally.

When I hear His Voice, if I choose to obey (regardless of feelings, circumstances, or what anyone else might think or say), then ultimately, my heart will follow.

See the difference?  I want to CHOOSE (with my spirit) to deny myself, take up my cross and follow HIM.  When I do that, my heart is then positioned to be impacted and changed by HIS SPIRIT.  He alone can change my heart.

HE ALONE CAN CHANGE MY HEART.  I cannot.  At best, all I can do, all any of us can do, is fake it.

1 Peter 1:21-22 is a favorite verse of mine ever since the Lord opened my eyes and applied it to my life awhile back in a very personal way.  It contains a living spiritual principle that once understood and 'seen', is extremely powerful.  If we choose to walk in it.

But please realize that all hell will war against that very thing in your life.  Just sayin.

1 Peter 1:21-22 says "Through Him (Jesus Christ) you believe in (adhere to, rely on) God, Who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him honor and glory, so that your faith and hope are (centered and rest) in God"…….(now here it comes)……"Since by your *obedience* to the Truth through the Holy Spirit you have *purified* your hearts for the sincere affection of the brethren, (see that you) love one another fervently from a pure heart."

Did you see it?

Obedience FIRST.

Heart purification SECOND.

Not the other way around!!

And while it says that *you* purified your heart, in essence, it's your OBEDIENCE to The Spirit of Truth (God Himself) that opens the way for Him to do IN you what could never happen otherwise.

And lest we forget, it's not about the routine of religious duty, obeying rules and regulations….that's religion.

I'm talking about the kind of obedience that flows from a heart of love for the One Who gave it all, and continues to give of Himself to us in ways unimaginable.

That's RELATIONSHIP.  And that's what God is after……a relationship with you, with me, with all who will say 'yes' to His offer of Himself and His Kingdom, and all that He has planned for us in this age and in the ages to come.

I leave you with these words from Jesus' lips in John Chapter 14:15, 23.  (Read the whole chapter, it's AMAZING).  :)

"If you *really* love Me, you will obey My commands"……."If a person (really) loves Me, he will keep My Word (obeyMy teaching); and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him."

Did you get that?????

Our hearts become HIS HOME!  His SPECIAL DWELLING PLACE!!!!

I think THAT is what He went to prepare for us when He went to the Cross.  Look back at verse 20.  "At that time (when that day comes) you will know (for yourselves) that I am in My Father, and you (are) in Me, and I am in you."

It's not just about going to Heaven y'all.

It's about Heaven coming to EARTH.  In us.  In His People.  In the human heart!

Truly, one day His Kingdom will literally, physically come and be manifest and established for REAL.  Here ON EARTH.  Just as it is in Heaven.

Do we believe that?  Then by His Grace, let's press on, and live like it!  And let's reach out and help one another to do just that, as we reach out to all who are hurting, tired, afraid, hungry, lost and confused.

His Kingdom Come,

Beck  :)

Eternal Thoughts On A Temporal Election~

Like many of you this morning, I am reflecting on the presidential election, and though the man I voted for was not elected, essentially, nothing has changed.  Hear me out.

From an earthly perspective we see change happening all around us, but from God's eternal perspective?  Nope.  Check this out.

2 Corinthians 4:18 "So, we fix our eyes *not* on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary (and subject to change), but what is unseen is eternal (and lasting)."

Hear that?  There is an unseen reality, the unseen spirit realm where eternal realities exist and impact this temporal realm we reside in....temporarily.

As a Christian, I am ever more aware of the reality that in Christ, I am seated together with Him in those Heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).....far above all that is earthly, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named (or any title that can be conferred)!!  (Ephesians 1:21).

I live here, but my true source of life is.......there.  Where?  In Christ!  In Him, where all the treasures and riches of wisdom and righteousness are found!  In Him is Life, and His Life is the Light of men!  And how we need that Light in the world, now more than ever, for darkness is, and will continue to cover the face of the earth, but the Lord promises that a Light will arise and shine on His People!

Again.......we've got to decide, today, just like any other day......where will we FIX OUR EYES?  Where will I fix my eyes, the eyes of my Heart?

Another translation puts 2 Corinthians 4:18 this way:

"So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen.  For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever."

Where is your gaze today?  Yes, of course we live in this world, and we see and function and interact here....but where is our GAZE?  We become like what we LOOK AT.  What we give our time and attention to.  Where we invest ourselves.

What holds your gaze today?  WHO holds your gaze, your HEART?

You can trust the High King of Heaven with all you have, and all you are.  Press evermore into Him today, in prayer, in the Word, in sacred silence, and allow His Presence to give you fullness of joy, and be transformed from glory to glory.

And then, go share His Love and His grace with someone who needs it.  The Lord is coming back, and may we prepare the Way of the Lord and be ready at His coming.  Helping others to get ready as well!

I don't know about you, but today, not much has changed for me.  I mean in the sense of where I place my trust, and in Whom.  Yes, I know that things are changing in this nation, and our lives will be impacted.....and have already been.  And truthfully, I'm not overly excited about experiencing some hard things that are coming to this western hemisphere, to our society and culture, which is shifting and changing dramatically.   This I have known and sensed in my heart for a long long time.

I feel the birth pangs, spiritually speaking, getting stronger, and more frequent.  Tribulation always precedes birth, and God is about birthing something in the earth.  Do you know what it is?????

What on earth, is GOD about to BIRTH?  It's His Glory.  In a People.....prepared to be a Holy Habitation for HIM!  Of His Spirit, by His Spirit, and FOR His Spirit.  WE ARE HIS DWELLING PLACE.  We now share citizenship with the saints that have gone before, and we belong to God's own household.  We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself being the Chief Cornerstone!  IN HIM this whole structure is joined, bound, and welded together harmoniously, and it continues to rise and grow into a HOLY TEMPLE in the LORD......a sanctuary for HIS PRESENCE!.  (Ephesians 1:20-22).

THIS my friends, is where we need to be concentrating!!!  And the pressures that are coming to bear are for the purpose of moving us into the reality of that for which Christ died and rose again.  Both now, and in the coming ages.

Paradigm shifting time!!!!!  Yes?  Yes.

I am still choosing to lift my eyes to the Unseen but ever Present God, whose Son Jesus Christ has captured my heart.  His plans and purposes have NOT been thwarted, and He is always capable of  'working out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of Hs own will....and working all things together in to a plan for good to those who love Him and are called according to His Purposes...(Ephesians 1:11, Romans 8:28).

We have no time to stand around wringing our hands.  Our hearts do not have to fail us for fear of what is, or what is coming.  We have Christ in us, the Hope of Glory......that Glory of what is to come!  We have the promise and the down payment of His Spirit inside of us as a guarantee, of the fulfillment of His promises yet to come, right?  Yes.  (! Corinthians 1:22)

Prepare the Way of the Lord, and allow the testing of the time to work in you an awakening, a deeper desire and committment to time in His Presence and time in His Word.....and then, allow Him to thrust you in to the Harvest where the fields are white!

One final thought.  It is interesting to me to note that just days before this critical election in the history of this earthly nation of America, the huge tropical storm "Sandy" struck at the shoreline of our nation, right in the area where foundational things occurred which eventually led to the birthing of America.

I have been pondering foundations.  The fact that a storm called 'Sandy' stuck near the geographical foundational area of America seems startlingly significant to me.  For if a house is built on Rock, it will stand, for it's foundation is sure and will endure the storms that come.

But if that foundation is SAND......or if the foundation(s) are destroyed (Psalm 11:3), what can the righteous do....?  The destruction of or moving away from  Godly foundations in this nation, and the methodical replacement of those foundations with sandy ones......well, you know where that leads.

Seed of Hope and Truth:  Though I am an American, and love this earthly nation that I have been blessed and privileged to live in, and will continue to pray for her, I yet still recognize that my TRUE CITIZENSHIP is in the Heavenly Kingdom of a God Who is eternal, is ever at work in human history, and is moving us towards the establishment of His Eternal Kingdom.....on EARTH.  This Kingdom is unshakeable!!  (Hebrews 12)  Did you hear that?  His Kingdom IS COMING!  TO. THE. PLANET.  And it is UNSHAKEABLE & ETERNAL.  Are we ready?  Will we prepare and look forward to participating in that future Hope, that future coming Kingdom that is secure in Him?

We have SO MUCH to look forward let's PREPARE!  Now, more than ever.   And know that His grace will be supplied for whatever we are called to walk through.  We, our children, our grandchildren, we all are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses that testifies to these truths.  They are all around us, in that unseen realm.....remember, heaven is only one heart beat away, one breath away.  Think about it.  It only takes one breath to get there, for the Christian.  Hebrews 11 & 12....powerful truths along these lines are contained therein.

Think it not strange folks, the fiery trials that have come, and are coming.  We are being prepared and made ready for the return of our King.  Will we cooperate with God's promptings and proddings?  His wooings?  CHOOSE TODAY to lift your vision higher......TRUST HIM with your eternity, and TRUST HIM WITH YOUR NOW!!

Live here and now, in light of then and there!

Grace and Peace,

Becky :)

Light That Is Darkness~

"True hearing of absolute (pure) TRUTH does not exist apart from the Word of God.  Romans 10:17 "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God."  We see and hear all sorts of things on a daily basis, and we give our time and attention to taking in much that has no real worth in the Light of Eternity.

Whatever I think I know as "Truth", if I am not IN the Word of God on a regular basis and the Word of God is not alive IN me (within the context of an active, interactive, present relationship with the Living God), then whatever Truth or "light" that I think I have (or espouse to others) will be greatly compromised.  In fact, that 'light' can be said to actually be.......darkness.

Luke 11:35  "Be careful therefore that the light that is in you is not darkness."

It all depends on where we are placing our EYES (both physical and spiritual, the eyes of our hearts).   And why.  WHY??

For "your eye is the lamp of the body; when your eye (your conscience) is sound and fulfilling its office, your whole body is full of light; but when it is not sound and is not fulfilling its office, your body is full of darkness."  (Luke 11:34)

Did you get that?  The physical eyes are the gates through which information enters into our inner if we are looking, gazing or focusing on something, but the eyes of our heart (our conscience, our motives, our intents) are askew, then even if we gaze at the right thing (the Word of God) if our motives are impure, then what we think we have as light can actually be darkness.  Think about it.

We can actually be 'doing all the right things' (seemingly, outwardly), and be in complete darkness, or disobedience to God.....if what we are doing is not flowing out of a pure heart relationship with Him and grounded in what He is speaking to our hearts, by His Spirit, through the Word, and in relationship / communion with Him.

God had to separate the light from the darkness a long time ago.  (Genesis 1:4 & 2 Corinthians 4:6)  What does that tell us?   The fact that there is a light that can actually be darkness, should give us cause for deep concern!  Man looks on the outward, and it is often the outward display that we are preoccupied with regarding ourselves and others.  We want to appear a certain way, or we judge others who 'appear' to us a certain way.   Often, we are merely judging others according to our own sin!!  Ah, but that's a rabbit trail..........O_o  Albeit a good one.

But this morning, I am struck by this relationship between light and darkness, and the unsettling reality that there is a light that can be in us that we think is true light, but may in fact be darkness.  SELAH.

Ah, but there is hope!  And it is for each and every person, no matter who you are, or what your status in life is.

It all begins and goes back to the foundation of a relationship with God.  That has to be in place first!

"Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God."  (John 3:3)!

Once a person is reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, Who is the ONLY Way, Truth and Life(John 14:16)), a whole new journey begins.   From faith to faith and from glory to glory (Romans 1:17 & 2 Corinthians 3:16-18), we are then in a position to grow towards the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ! (Ephesians 4:13)  Asking, seeking, knocking and persevering in following on to know the Lord is our ongoing privilege in this age as we prepare for our future Hope and inheritance in the ages to come with Him. (Matthew 7:7, Hosea 6:3, Jeremiah 29:11,  Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 2:7).    It is THIS JOY that was set before Jesus and gave Him strength to endure His Cross.  So it is true for us as we deny ourselves, take up our crosses in this life, and FOLLOW HIM!  (Hebrews 12:2, Mark 8:34-35).

We can be assured that HIS LIGHT will be in us!  For Christ IS the Light that has come into the world!

Listen to these words about Jesus:

"There it was-the True Light (was then) coming into the world (the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light) that illumines every person."  (John 1:9)

And Jesus makes it very clear that through relationship with Him, we have access to the Father, and the very Spirit of the Triune God comes to live and dwell in us........."But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.  He shall glorify Me; for He shall take of Mine, and shall disclose it to you.  All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said, that He takes of Mine, and will disclose it to you."  (John 16:13-15)

God has given us everything we need to walk in the Light as He is in the Light!  (I John 1:7)

And, He has given us all we need to be prepared for the future, whether it be what lies on the horizon directly in front of us in this age, or His Kingdom in the age and ages to come.

So,  today, let's ask ourselves.......where is our gaze?  Where are we placing our eyes?  And what is the heart intent?  And what are we doing???  How are we living in LIGHT of His TRUTH?  Do we KNOW Him?  Are we pressing in to know Christ, Who was (is) the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form.  Oh my what a privilege we have been given, to have such an opportunity  offered to us!  What a price Jesus paid to open the Way for all who would come to Him!

Jesus will one day say these words:

"Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?  And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you;  depart from me, you who act wickedly (disregarding My commands)."  (Matthew 7: 21-23)

Those are words I do NOT want to hear.  That fact that it is possible to call Him Lord, and do much in His name, without truly knowing Him......scares the hell out of me.  And it should~

"If then your entire body is illuminated, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright (with light), as when a lamp with its bright rays gives you light."  (Luke 11:36)

Let not the light that is in me be darkness.  Selah~

What ever in this life tears away our complacency, our tendency to cling to the temporal.....whatever it is....must be welcomed as an escort into what REALLY matters.  This, is a gift.  From the Hand of the Most High God.  To realize  that in a world where good and evil still co-exist, clash, struggle and wage war against one another.....that there is an Ultimate Kingdom, Whose One True God reigns forever more, and will reconcile all to Himself through His Son Jesus Christ, is to be brought to purposeful living.

Everything that comes, the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful, the temporal, the eternal.....He masterfully weaves into a plan for ultimate and eternal good to those who love Him, and are the called according to His purpose.  To those who look to Him, inquire of Him, yield to Him and follow His Spirit's leading, He grants grace, peace, LIFE.  Nothing is able to separate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus.  NOTHING.  We get to choose to be with Him where He is, in every situation, every circumstance, every relationship, every season of this brief life.  To be found in Him, most especially at His coming, is the goal of this life.  To walk victoriously through whatever this life brings, His promise.

How can we not bring as many with us as possible?  Knowing what we know?

Every sphere of life, every realm, every arena, every endeavor, has it's place in the grand scheme of things.  Every culture, every ethnic group, every personality and gifting and bent has a specific value and importance.  There is no realm, however great or small, that is beyond His scope and sequence.  He is the Grand Author and Creator of all of life, in it's immeasurable and nearly boundless spheres of existence.

And what IS man, that He is mindful of us?  But He IS.

Truly, the end of all things is this.  To fear God and keep His commandments.....and His commandments are not grievous.  Know Him, and His Son Jesus Christ, in Whom are found all the treasures of wisdom and righteousness!  He came to seek and to save that which was lost.....but before it was ever lost, He prepared THE FINDING.

I once was lost.  But now, in Christ, am FOUND.

All of human history can be boiled down to that.  Even our favorite childhood game preaches His Gospel!  Hide, and seek.  Lost...and FOUND~

I've watched my son Jordan dive in and learn how to do things by just.......well, gettin' in there and doin' it.  You know, like the Nike slogan "Just Do It."

There is a time to learn from others, and there is a time to explore and learn on your own by doing.  I think the Lord likes it when we are open to both avenues of learning and growing.

My overwhelming thought, when I took this picture last week of Jordan replacing the transmission on his Mazda B-2000 was this:

"If we, as weak and fallen (though redeemed and raised to new life) human beings, are willing to get this dirty and expend this much energy replacing the transmission on our earthly mechanical vehicles, how much more has God been, and is He yet still, willing to get down into the dirt, mire and grit of our earthly existence and do what needs to be done to move us on down the road with Him??"

He never gives up on us!  On me.  On YOU.

And if He's not afraid to get dirty, neither should we be.

Sharing the goodness of what He's done in me, means I can gladly, by His grace, step into the lives of others, and joyfully get dirty in the process of bringing about His redemption and reconciliation!  And I can learn as I go.  I don't need to have all the answers before stepping into the process.

Neither do you.

Remember:  He (Jesus) IS the Way, the Truth and the Life.  He will SHOW you what to do, what to say, as you take that step of faith in Him, and reach out and get involved in another's life.  Isn't this how we become transmitters ourselves?  Transmitters of His Glory.  One person, one situation at a time.

Just as we share one another's joys, we bear one another's burdens.  And that will vary in infinite ways, according to the unique gifting and calling of each one of us.  The smallest of deeds (in man's eyes) when done at the Lord's prompting, from a heart of compassion, yields a greater eternal harvest than can be imagined.

No need to compare yourself with anyone else...........YOU have a unique sphere, function and way in which God flows through you that is altogether vital and ordained.  Relax and be satisfied to do whatever He has placed within your reach, all for His glory~  Your gift, your bent, your way of touching others, is VALID and necessary.

I am thanking God today for the ways in which He allows me to grow in this with Him.   And, for the opportunities He's gives me to put my hand to the plow, or the shaft, or WHATEVER He sets before me.   Life is messy, and people are hurting.  In the midst of it all, God is working to bring about His highest purposes.

Don't be afraid to get dirty.  Someone needs your touch.

Wait, and Dive a Little Deeper

Often I realize that I don't dive below the surface of my everyday life.  Everyday has it's challenges, it's responsibilities, and don't we all have a list of 'things to do' that we like to check off?  There is this need inside of us to be productive, or at least FEEL that we've been productive.  And sometimes, I think our idea of 'productivity' might be a bit skewed.......or perhaps we just limit ourselves to what we know 'has to be done', but forget the things that don't seem 'productive' at all.

For instance, yesterday we headed to piano lesson.

As Michaela was getting out of the truck to go inside for her piano lesson ( we have the best piano teacher in the world by the way), she asked me if I was going anywhere.  "I'm headed to Tractor Supply" I said, thinking I had just enough time to cram that errand in and get back to pick her up.  "Oh, but I wanted to go with you, to look for bumper stickers!" she said.

In that moment, I made a decision to wait.  WAIT.  That's kind of a big word.  And sometimes a hard one to DO!  But the time spent together with her after lesson going to TS outweighed my desire to 'get it done' and save time later in order to get home quicker.  I didn't NEED to get home quicker that day......!  So.........I turned off the truck, and sat there looking at Mr. B's beautiful backyard, which in reality is a clearing in the middle of a forest of trees.

I got out of the truck (instead of sitting in the truck updating my list of things to do in my daytimer to see what 'progress' I'd made, or still needed to make!).  And I just began to walk around the perimeter of his yard, along the tree line.  I sat down at the base of a tree, and I'll admit, I DID make a phone call (!) to my oldest daughter, Rebecca.  But at least I wasn't sitting in the truck!

While she and I had our conversation, catching up on life and the weekend and other things, I just walked around the back yard, then settled again at the base of the same tree.

At one point, a young spotted fawn came within a few feet of me just inside the tree line!  I watched the fawn watching me, it's gaze locked with mine.  It was so close, but I never would have seen it had I not been resting on the root at the base of that big tree.  I drank in the graceful beauty of this creature with my eyes, appreciating again the creativity of God.  I squinted and looked into the canopy of trees, noticing the various textures of light and dark, and how amazing God is to paint that pattern of light and dark on the fawn, to keep it safely hidden and camouflaged while it's mother is away......

And then, I began to look at the ground, I mean REALLY look at the ground.  I picked up a stick and started playing in the dirt.  At first it was just something to do with my hands.  But then, as I looked at the ground, really LOOKED at it, I suddenly had a flashback to my childhood.  I remember how much time I spent outside, playing hide and seek with my buddies, running all through the neighborhood or riding bikes, climbing trees, etc etc.  I KNEW what the earth looked and smelled like then.  I was so familiar with how the bark of each one of my favorite climbing trees felt under my fingers.  I knew the smell of the trees, the grass, the sound of the wind through the leaves in summer.......even the multitudes of insects and smaller creatures that inhabited our stomping ground, even they were a regular part of my world.  Then.  In my childhood, when I had time to dive into the wonder of God's creation, because I spent more time there.

That is always where I have felt the closest to HIM.  It still is.

As I sat there looking at the ground, I saw the artistry of God.  Right there in the dirt!  And I dove a little deeper, and stayed there, underneath the surface of daily life.  Being still, reflecting, remembering......absorbing.  How is it that such artistry can be right there, underneath our noses, within our grasp......but we rush on by so often?

There is something holy and restorative in nature.  God's natural creation truly DOES declare His glory, in ways great and small. I want to be so much more attentive to the currents of God's Heart.  The myriad of messages flowing forth daily, moment by moment, all around me!

Just as I caught a glimpse of the doe as she came looking for her offspring, Michaela came bounding out the door, her lesson finished.  Mr. B saw me creeping along the forest wall in his backyard and flung open the window to find out what I was intrigued by.  I held my finger to my lips, watched the doe dart away, and went up to the studio to share the story.  He told me that he'd seen the same fawn one morning in the backyard with it's mother, practicing it's dashing and darting skills, while it's sibling hid shyly in the shade, coming out only at the last minute to explore the open clearing.

Michaela and I headed off to Tractor Supply, and wouldn't you know it?  I ran into someone at TS that I hadn't seen in  LONG LONG time.  We caught up on one another's lives briefly.  Then, she dove deeper with me and shared a trial that she is going through.  A very painful deep valley.  And in that moment, I was even more glad that I had waited.  Had I not, then I would have missed this Divine appointment.

I was able to listen with my heart, and pray together with this beautiful but hurting sister.  Right there in TS.  And, I was able to put a treasure in her hands.  A beautiful book that the Lord has been blessing my life with:  "One Thousand Gifts" by Ann Voskamp.

Surely our steps are ordered of the Lord, and I am ever learning to wait.  Stop. Listen, and take the time to dive deeper below the surface of everyday life.  With HIM.

You just never know what treasures await!

Fun & Freaky Friday Post

Here's one to consider as you ease into your weekend~  Don't you WISH you lived in KENTUCKY????????  Thank you very much~  :)

All I have to say is, don't turn down an invitation to our barn party, cuz Ernie will be our guest of honor / special 'speaker'......LOL

I'm NOT even kidding~
